1. A network subsystem comprising:
- receiving circuitry operable to gather information about one or more channels available for routing data at least partially through a vehicle;
choosing circuitry operable to choose a best channel from among the one or more channels based at least partially on the gathered information about the one or more channels, the choosing at least partially based at least on a suitability of the one or more channels including at least a vehicle-position-dependent and vehicle-heading-dependent suitability indicator of the one or more channels, the suitability also being based on a speed of the vehicle, a quantity of data intended to be routed through the best channel, a computed distance metric of the best channel, and executing a table look-up to determine a suitability value of the vehicle; and
routing circuitry operable to route data through the best channel.

Abstract
Apparatuses, methods and systems are described that are configured to act on a heading-dependent suitability indicator of a channel through a mobile communication system that can have a defined heading, such as a passenger vehicle or other motor-propelled vehicle. The indicator may also use other determinants such as a latitude and longitude of the system.
