1. An apparatus for optical excitation of a target, the apparatus comprising:

  • a laser to generate a first laser beam;

    a first interference pattern generation module receiving the first laser beam, the first interference pattern generation module comprising;

    a beam splitter for splitting the first laser beam into a second laser beam and a third laser beam;

    a window, the third laser beam passing through the window, the window modulating an optical phase of the third laser beam with respect to the second laser beam; and

    a galvanometer coupled to the window to rotate the window,wherein the first interference pattern generation module is configured to generate an excitation pattern for selectively exciting the target by interference between the second laser beam and the third laser beam.
