1. A computer-based method for editing a fingerprint, the method comprising:

  • presenting, by one or more computer processors, to a user, at least one concept that comprises the fingerprint, the at least one concept represented by a term, wherein the term comprises one or more words having a long form and an associated short form, wherein the long form and the short form provide a representation of a frequency of an occurrence of the term;

    determining, by the one or more computer processors, a calculated importance of the at least one concept by applying a correction algorithm selected from at least one of;


    log 10(1+T/S),
    (1/(S+1))exp,
    log 10((T+1)/(S+1)), and
    log(S+off),wherein T is a total number of documents, S is a frequency of the at least one concept in all documents, and S+off>

    1, 0.0001 or off is a user defined exponent;

    presenting, by one or more computer processors, to the user, a user interface wherein the user can adjust the calculated importance of the at least one concept, wherein the calculated importance is a weight that is adjustable from −

    1 to +1 or the calculated importance is an attribute expressing that the at least one concept is forbidden or required;

    receiving, by one or more computer processors, an adjusted importance from the user;

    andapplying, by one or more computer processors, the adjusted importance to the at least one concept.
