- a single emitter structure having a substrate with a plurality light-emitting diodes (LEDs) arranged thereon;
a total-internal-reflection (TIR) lens, the TIR lens including;
an optical body member having a substantially straight interior open channel in a lower portion thereof, the interior open channel having a lower opening for accommodating the single emitter structure;
the optical body member having a step-shaped upper surface defining an increasingly wider cavity extending from an interior portion to an upper opening of the optical body; and
a plurality of refractive surface regions disposed on the step-shaped upper surface of the optical body.
