the one or more base stations set up a temporary base station context for transmitting a signalling message, from a communications device of the one or more communications devices, and comprising user data intended for the destination, to the one or more mobility managers, the one or more base stations, upon reception of the signalling message, detect that the signalling message is not associated with any established signalling connection between the one or more base stations and the communication device, the temporary context is released prior to receipt by the one or more base stations of an acknowledgement message from the one or more mobility managers regarding receipt of the signalling message by the destination, andthe one or more base stations, responsive to said detection, transmit the user data comprised in the signalling message to the destination, via the one or more mobility managers.
