1. A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

  • a first substrate;

    a second substrate facing the first substrate;

    a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate;

    a pixel electrode;

    a common electrode facing the pixel electrode;

    a plurality of scan lines extending in a first direction;

    a plurality of data lines;

    a plurality of first touch electrodes, wherein each first touch electrode comprises a main body portion extending in the first direction and overlapping one of the plurality of scan lines, and a plurality of branching portions extending from the main body portion in a second direction, different from the first direction; and

    a plurality of second touch electrodes crossing the main body portion of each first touch electrode from among the plurality of first touch electrodes,wherein each of the plurality of second touch electrodes is disposed between adjacent data lines of the plurality of data lines, andwherein the plurality of branching portions of each first touch electrode overlap at least one data line from among the plurality of data lines.
