1. A computing system comprising:
- one or more computer processors;
a computer readable storage medium storing instructions configured for execution by the one or more computer processors in order to cause the computing system to;
determine at least one display parameter that is associated with a three dimensional imaging volume comprising a plurality of voxels, the at least one display parameter determined from a plurality of display parameters, wherein the at least one display parameter is determined to be associated with the three dimensional imaging volume based on one or more of a user of the computing system, a type of user of the computing system, a modality of the three dimensional imaging volume, an exam type associated with the three dimensional imaging volume, a group of exams of which the three dimensional imaging volume is a part, a group of users of the computing system of which the user is a member, a facility in which the three dimensional imaging volume is displayed, and/or a system on which the three dimensional imaging volume is displayed;
selectively display portions of the three dimensional imaging volume; and
determine whether portions of the three dimensional imaging volume have been displayed according to the at least one display parameter that is associated with the three dimensional imaging volume,wherein the at least one display parameter indicates that the plurality of voxels are to be displayed at a particular resolution.

Abstract
A method of automatically tracking the portions of a 3D medical imaging volume, such as the voxels, that have already been displayed according to use-defined display parameters, notating those portions, and providing the user with information indicating what portions of the imaging volume have been displayed at full resolution.

7. A method comprising:
-
determining, by a computing system having one or more computer processors, at least one display parameter that is associated with a three dimensional imaging volume comprising a plurality of voxels, the at least one display parameter determined from a plurality of display parameters; receiving, at the computing system, indications of portions of the three dimensional imaging volume that are selectively displayed; and determining, by the computing system and based on the indications, whether portions of the three dimensional imaging volume have been displayed according to the at least one display parameter that is associated with the three dimensional imaging volume, wherein the at least one display parameter indicates that the plurality of voxels are to be displayed at a particular resolution. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11, 12)

13. A computing system comprising:
-
one or more computer processors; a computer readable storage medium storing instructions configured for execution by the one or more computer processors in order to cause the computing system to simultaneously display to a user at least; a first image plane generated from a three dimensional imaging volume comprising a plurality of voxels; and a second image plane generated from the three dimensional imaging volume to the user, the second image plane different from the first image plane, wherein the displayed second image plane includes an indication of portions of the three dimensional imaging volume that have been displayed to the user according to user-defined display parameters, and wherein the first and/or second image planes are generated via multiplanar reformatting. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17, 18)
