1. A hollow, wood-type golf club head comprising:

  • a first body member and a second body member releasably coupleable to the first body member by a cantilever mechanism comprising a protruding tip on the first body member and a recess dimensioned to receive the protruding tip on the second body member, wherein the recess comprises a hole through the second body member;

    the first and second body members releasably coupleable to create a playable club head that can be disassembled by pressing on the protruding tip, through the hole, to disengage the cantilever mechanism, the club head comprising;

    a hollow body having a ball-striking face;

    a crown extending aft from the face;

    a hosel extending upwards from a heel side of the body when the club head is at address; and

    a sole extending aft from the face beneath the crown,wherein the cantilever mechanism is located in the playable club head.
