1. A valve assembly comprising:
- a housing comprising;
an inlet/outlet port structured for fluid communication with at least one fluid component external to the valve assembly;
a machine fluid reservoir port structured for fluid communication with at least one fluid reservoir of a machine;
a filter port structured for fluid communication with at least one filter of the machine; and
,an actuating mechanism operably positioned and structured within the housing; and
wherein the actuating valve mechanism comprises an open position and a closed position, wherein, upon application of negative pressure at the inlet/outlet port, the actuating mechanism is in the open position and the actuating mechanism is configured to establish a first channel within the housing for fluid communication between the inlet/outlet port and the machine fluid reservoir port; and
wherein, upon application of positive pressure at the inlet/outlet port, the actuating mechanism is in the closed position and the actuating mechanism is configured to establish a second channel within the housing for fluid communication between the inlet/outlet port and the filter port.

Various embodiments of valve assemblies are provided for use in connection with the fluid systems of machines such as engine-powered machines. The valve assemblies may be used for performing fluid refill operations, fluid evacuation operations, fluid purge operations, and other types of fluid operations in connection with machine maintenance.

1. A valve assembly comprising:

a housing comprising; an inlet/outlet port structured for fluid communication with at least one fluid component external to the valve assembly; a machine fluid reservoir port structured for fluid communication with at least one fluid reservoir of a machine; a filter port structured for fluid communication with at least one filter of the machine; and

a first valve assembly comprising; a first housing comprising; a first inlet/outlet port structured for fluid communication with at least one fluid component external to the first valve assembly; a first machine fluid reservoir port structured for fluid communication with a first fluid reservoir of a machine; a first filter port structured for fluid communication with a first filter of the machine; and
,a first actuating mechanism operably positioned within the first housing and wherein the first actuating mechanism comprises an open position and a closed position, wherein, upon application of negative pressure at the first inlet/outlet port, the first actuating mechanism is in the open position and the first actuating mechanism is configured to establish a first channel for fluid communication between the first inlet/outlet port and the first machine fluid reservoir port; and wherein, upon application of positive pressure at the first inlet/outlet port, the first actuating mechanism is in the closed position and the first actuating mechanism is configured to establish a second channel for fluid communication between the first inlet/outlet port and the first filter port; and
,at least a second valve assembly comprising; a second housing comprising; a second inlet/outlet port structured for fluid communication with at least one fluid component external to the second valve assembly; a second machine fluid reservoir port structured for fluid communication with a second fluid reservoir of the machine; a second filter port structured for fluid communication with a second filter of the machine; and
