1. A Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) comprising:

  • a receiver with substantially zero-tuning capacitance configured to receive a first signal for powering the RFID;

    a transmitter configured to transmit a second signal;

    a state selector configured to randomly or pseudo-randomly cause the RFID to be in one of a first state in which a first amount of current flows through the receiver and a second state in which a second amount of current flows through the receiver, the first amount of current being greater than the second amount of current; and

    a voltage rectifier connected to the receiver and configured to draw more current in response to a voltage multiplication factor of the voltage rectifier being increased.
