1. A forehead sensor package comprising:
- a first layer comprising a brain oxygenation sensor configured to detect light attenuated by a cerebral cavity of a patient; and
a second layer comprising a plurality of EEG electrodes;
said second layer configured to detachably connect with the first layer whereby the first layer is partially overlaid on the second layer;
wherein said second layer comprises a sensory compartment configured to align with a portion of the brain oxygenation sensor, said sensor compartment configured to allow light to pass through from a light detector of the brain oxygen sensor.
