1. An electrostatic capacitive type touch panel comprising:

  • a substrate including a pair of long sides and a pair of short sides;

    a plurality of X electrodes and a plurality of Y electrodes intersecting with the X electrodes formed on the substrate,a first signal line having a first portion which extends along at least one of the short and long sides of the electrostatic capacitive type touch panel supplying signals to the X electrodes;

    a second signal line having a first portion which extends along at least one of the short and long sides of the electrostatic capacitive type touch panel supplying signals to the Y electrodes;

    a plurality of first connection terminals of the first portion of the first signal line and the second signal line;

    a flexible printed circuit board having a second portion of the first and the second signal line, a plurality of second connection terminals, and a plurality of third connection terminals,wherein the second connection terminal is electrically connected with the third connection terminal respectively by the second portion, andwherein the plurality of second connection terminals is disposed above the plurality of first connection terminal and electrically connected with the plurality of first connection terminals respectively,wherein the flexible printed circuit board has shielding lines which surround the first and the second signal line of the second portion,wherein the number of the plurality of third connection terminals is less than that of the plurality of second connection terminals, andwherein the shielding lines are supplied a ground potential by the third connection terminals.
