1. Apparatus comprising:
- at least one computer memory that is not a transitory signal and that comprises instructions executable by at least one processor to;
send an interrogation signal to an electronic transaction card (e-card) to report information related to communication the e-card has had with point of sale (POS) devices, including interrogations from the POS devices, that are separate from the e-card and the apparatus;
record a response from the e-card to the interrogation signal; and
responsive to a determination that a signal from e-card is received over a short-range wireless protocol, automatically send a message to the e-card to authorize a transaction associated with at least one interrogation from at least one of the POS devices without user input.

13. Non-transitory computer readable storage medium (NTCRSM) including instructions executable by a processor to configure the processor to:
-
send a wireless signal to an electronic transaction card (e-card) to command the e-card to report transaction information, the transaction information including data derived from interrogations the e-card has received via near field communication (NFC) from one or more point of sales (POS) devices, the processor not being in a POS device; record responses received from the e-card to the wireless signal; and responsive to a determination that a message from e-card is received over a short-range wireless protocol, automatically send a signal to the e-card to authorize a transaction associated with at least one of the interrogation signals from the one or more POS devices without user input. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17)
