1. A method for delivering a target volume of fluid to a destination, the method comprising:

  • using a user interface configured to allow user selection of a mode from a plurality of user selectable modes, one of the user selectable modes being a low volume delivery mode which limits the target volume to a predetermined range;

    selecting, using the user interface, one of the plurality of user selectable modes;

    acting pneumatically, with a flow control module to direct fluid flow through a delivery set, the delivery set having one or more pumping chambers and valve arrangements for controlling fluid communication throughout the delivery set;

    controlling with a controller how much of the fluid is delivered to the destination, controlling the valve arrangement, and controlling the fluid control module, the controller executing the selected mode of the plurality of user selectable modes; and

    wherein upon selection of the low volume delivery mode, controlling with the controller, the flow control module such that the flow control module delivers a first volume of the fluid to the destination and a second volume of the fluid to the destination, the sum of the first volume of the fluid and the second volume of the fluid approximately equal to the target volume, and controlling with the controller the flow control module, such that the flow control module delivers the first volume of the fluid in increments each having approximately a first incremental volume, and delivers the second volume of the fluid to the destination in increments each having approximately a second incremental volume, the second incremental volume being less than the first incremental volume.
