1. A method for setting, by a base station, a connection for client cooperation in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

  • searching for at least one candidate cooperative device for a source device;

    receiving a first activation request message from the source device;

    transmitting a second activation request message to a recommended candidate cooperative device selected from a list of candidate cooperative devices which includes the searched at least one candidate cooperative device;

    receiving an activation response message, responsive to the second activation request message, from the recommended candidate cooperative device; and

    transmitting an activation command message including a result of an activation request of the source device which is requested by the first activation request message,wherein the base station and the source device are connected to each other through a first system,wherein the base station and the recommended candidate cooperative device are connected to each other through a second system, andwherein, if the result of the activation request of the source device is successful, the activation command message includes at least one of multi-radio access technology (multi-RAT) information of the recommended candidate cooperative device, multi-RAT random access time, and an indicator of whether a connection between the base station and the source device through the first system is maintained.
