1. A medicament delivery device for the administration of one or more drug agents, the device having (i) a priming mode for priming the device and (ii) a drug delivery mode for administering delivery of a dose of the one or more drug agents, wherein the device has a plurality of states including a predetermined state, wherein the device comprises a controller operative for:

  • determining which of the plurality of states the device is in;

    responsive to the controller determining that the device is in the predetermined state, setting the device in the priming mode and disabling the drug delivery mode during said predetermined state; and

    responsive to the controller determining that the device is in a state different than the predetermined state, setting the device in the drug delivery mode while maintaining enablement of the priming mode through a user interface,wherein the user interface is configured to provide a first selectable option for priming the device and a second selectable option for delivering a dose,wherein, to set the device in the priming mode and disable the drug delivery mode, the controller is operative to cause the user interface to provide the first selectable option and not the second selectable option to thereby set the device in a mandatory priming mode, andwherein, to set the device in the drug delivery mode while maintaining enablement of the priming mode, the controller is operative to cause the user interface to provide both the first selectable option and the second selectable option.
