Abstract

A method of controlling at least one message including at least one command and response; and an apparatus therefore are discussed. The method according to one embodiment includes transmitting a get command including a parameter identifier to a receiver for retrieving parameter information; receiving a get command response corresponding to the get command, the get command response including the parameter information corresponding to the parameter identifier and first status information. The first status information indicates whether a parameter requested by the get command is available. If the parameter requested by the get command is available, the first status information indicates a field of STATUS_OK and if the parameter requested by the get command is not available, the first status information indicates a field of STATUS_INVALID_PARAM. The method further includes transmitting a reset command. A parameter of the receiver is reset to a default value based on the reset command.

Claims

1. A method of controlling at least one message including at least one command and response, the method comprising:

transmitting a get command including a parameter identifier to a receiver for retrieving parameter information of the receiver;

receiving a get command response corresponding to the get command, the get command response including the parameter information corresponding to the parameter identifier and first status information,

wherein the first status information indicates whether a parameter requested by the get command is available in the receiver, and

wherein if the parameter requested by the get command is available, the first status information indicates a field of STATUS_OK and if the parameter requested by the get command is not available, the first status information indicates a field of STATUS_INVALID_PARAM; and

transmitting a reset command to reset the receiver,

wherein a parameter of the receiver is reset to a default value based on the reset command.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the parameter information includes a parameter identifier, parameter length information and a parameter value, and

wherein the parameter identifier is used for retrieving parameters, the parameter length information indicates a length of the parameter value, and the parameter value indicates a value corresponding to the parameter identifier.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

receiving a reset command response corresponding to the reset command,

wherein the reset command response informs that the receiver has been reset.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein the reset command response includes second status information, the second status information indicating whether the parameter of the receiver is reset or not.

5. The method of claim 3, further comprising:

initializing the receiver after the reset.

6. An apparatus for controlling at least one message including at least one command and response corresponding to the at least one command, the apparatus comprising:

a processor configured to;

transmit a get command including a parameter identifier to a receiver for retrieving parameter information of the receiver,

receive a get command response corresponding to the get command, the get command response including the parameter information corresponding to the parameter identifier and first status information,

wherein the first status information indicates whether a parameter requested by the get command is available in the receiver, and

wherein if the parameter requested by the get command is available, the first status information indicates a field of STATUS_OK and if the parameter requested by the get command is not available, the first status information indicates a field of STATUS_INVALID_PARAM, and

transmit a reset command to reset the receiver,

wherein a parameter of the receiver is reset to a default value based on the reset command.

7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the parameter information includes a parameter identifier, parameter length information and a parameter value, and

wherein the parameter identifier is used for retrieving parameters, the parameter length information indicates a length of the parameter value, and the parameter value indicates a value corresponding to the parameter identifier.

8. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the processor is further configured to receive a reset command response corresponding to the reset command, and

wherein the reset command response informs that the receiver has been reset.

9. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the reset command response includes second status information, the second status information indicating whether the parameter of the receiver is reset or not.

10. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the processor is further configured to initialize the receiver after the reset.
