1. A faucet mountable to a support, the faucet comprising:
- a base configured to mount to the support;
a spout extending upwardly from the base and configured to output water;
a valve housing located within at least one of the base and the spout, the valve housing comprising a first inlet for receiving a first supply of water, a second inlet for receiving a second supply of water, and an outlet fluidly connected to the spout;
a first flow control member located in the valve housing and moveable relative to the valve housing between a closed position, in which water is prevented from flowing from the first inlet to the outlet, and an open position, in which water flows to the outlet from the first inlet;
a second flow control member located in the valve housing and moveable relative to the valve housing between a closed position, in which water is prevented from flowing from the second inlet to the outlet, and an open position, in which water flows to the outlet from the second inlet; and
an actuator assembly configured to move the first flow control member and the second flow control member between the open and closed positions;
wherein the first flow control member is configured such that when in the open position, water flowing from the first inlet to the outlet exerts substantially no net force on the first flow control member and the actuator assembly; and
wherein the second flow control member is configured such that when in the open position, water flowing from the second inlet to the outlet exerts substantially no net force on the second flow control member and the actuator assembly.
