    providing a third offer applicable for the activity at the retail store to a third user via a third mobile phone, wherein the third offer has the third value;

    wherein the first user, the second user, and the third user are all different users;

    wherein the first offer, the second offer, and the third offer are provided in response to detecting respective physical presence of the first user, the second user, and the third user at the retail store;

    wherein the processor determines presence of the users at the retail store based on information received from client-side applications of the mobile phones of the users in response to reception at each mobile phone of a signal transmitted within the retail store that encodes an identifier that identifies the retail store; and

    wherein the signal includes an error correcting code comprising a frequency range.
