1. An apparatus comprising:
- a touch panel comprising at least one electrically conductive layer having at least one electrically conductive part thereof that is electrically isolated on the at least one electrically conductive layer, where the at least one electrically conductive layer comprises a touch sensitive foil, wherein the at least one electrically conductive part is configured to generate magnetic field energy of a hearing aid compatible (HAC) magnetic field so as to communicate with a hearing aid, wherein the at least one electrically conductive part is configured to form a hearing aid compatible (HAC) induction coil configured to transmit a magnetic field induction signal comprising data from the HAC induction coil, where the HAC induction coil is printed around an edge of the touch sensitive foil and the HAC induction coil at least partially surrounding the at least one electrically conductive layer; and
an audio signal generator, the at least one electrically conductive part being connected to the audio signal generator, wherein the at least one electrically conductive part is configured to magnetically transfer an output of the audio signal generator to the hearing aid based on the magnetic field energy.

Abstract
An apparatus including a touch panel display component having at least one display part and an electrically conductive part electrically isolated from the display part. The electrically conductive part forms an induction loop incorporating a magnetic field induction capability. The magnetic field induction loop is used for hearing aid coupling, wireless charging, or contactless data communication. An electrostatic discharge component may be included to provide a discharge path to protect the display.
