1. In a computing environment including a first data processing system and a second data processing system, a method of rendering, on the second data processing system, a result derived from a set of data by performing data processing across the first data processing system and the second data processing system where the ratio of raw data to pure pixel processing performed by the second data processing system can be dynamically adjusted depending on interface characteristics of the first data processing system as compared to interface characteristics to be presented to a user of the second data processing system, the method comprising:

  • the second data processing system including interface characteristics controlling at least how the second data processing system processes raw data for presentation of a plurality of interface elements the second data processing system is capable of presenting to a user;

    the first data processing system receiving information indicating interface characteristics of the first data processing system as compared to interface characteristics to be presented to a user of the second data processing system; and

    the first data processing system dynamically allocating raw data processing between the first data processing system and the second data processing system, based on interface characteristics of the first data processing system as compared to interface characteristics to be presented to a user of the second data processing system, wherein the raw data processing consists of a first portion to be performed by the first data system and a second portion to be performed by the second data processing system.
