1. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs, the one or more programs comprising instructions, which when executed by an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display, and one or more sensors to detect intensities of contacts with the touch-sensitive display, cause the device to:

  • display, on the touch-sensitive display, first content;

    while a contact is detected at a first location on the touch-sensitive display that corresponds to a bounded area of the first content with a first size, detect a first portion of an input by the contact that includes an increase in intensity of the contact on the touch-sensitive display above a first intensity threshold;

    in response to detecting the increase in intensity of the contact on the touch-sensitive display above the first intensity threshold;

    display a portion of the first content in the bounded area with the first size at a reduced opacity, wherein the portion of the first content with the reduced opacity is overlaid oncorresponding content in the bounded area with the first size that corresponds to the first location of the contact;

    while displaying the first content with the reduced opacity overlaid on the corresponding content within the bounded area with the first size, detect a second portion of the input that includes an increase in intensity of the contact on the touch-sensitive display to a second intensity threshold that is greater than the first intensity threshold;

    in response to detecting the second portion of the input;

    further reduce the opacity of the portion of the first content within the bounded area with the first size as the intensity of the contact increases to the second intensity threshold;

    cease to display the portion of the first content within the bounded area with the first size when the intensity of the contact reaches the second intensity threshold; and

    maintain display of the corresponding content in the bounded area with the first size;

    while displaying the corresponding content in the bounded area with the first size, detect a third portion of the input by the contact that includes an increase in intensity of the contact on the touch-sensitive display from the second intensity threshold to an intensity greater than the second intensity threshold; and

    in response to detecting the third portion of the input, increase the size of the bounded area displaying the corresponding content from the first size to a second size.
