a display unit configured to operate based on a result of the detection by the proximity sensor while the proximity sensor is enabled; and
a processor configured to control the proximity sensor to selectively enable or disable during a call,wherein the proximity sensor is enabled in response to establishing the call, and is disabled while detecting input from a user via an input interface displayed in the display unit during the call.
