- automatically identifying an object depicted in an image;
automatically determining one or more characteristics of the object to compose a first question about the object;
causing to be presented, on a first device, the first question about the object;
receiving, from the first device, a first answer to the first question;
converting, on a system that is remote relative to the first device, at least a portion of the first answer into searchable information;
fact checking, on the system, the first answer by comparing the searchable information with information from one or more sources to determine factual correctness of the first answer to the first question;
causing to be presented, on the first device, a second question about the object in accordance with fact checking results of the first answer;
wherein the method is performed by one or more computing devices.

A fact checking system is able to verify the correctness of information and/or characterize information by comparing the information with one or more sources. The fact checking system automatically monitors, processes, fact checks information and indicates a status of the information. Fact checking results are able to be validated by re-fact checking the fact check results.
