- a memory;
a processor; and
a console application stored in the memory and executable by the processor, the console application configured to provide user- and game-specific soundtracks for a plurality of different video games;
create one or more soundtracks containing a user-selected plurality of audio tracks;
associate the one or more soundtracks with a user identity selected from a plurality of user identities;
associate at least one soundtrack of the one or more soundtracks with one or more particular games; and
during execution of a video game, if the at least one soundtrack is associated with the video game and a player associated with the user identity is playing the video game, play the at least one soundtrack instead of a default soundtrack of the video game.
