6. A sugar composition comprising:

(a) 0.01%-20%, based on the total weight of the composition, of xylose; (b) 0.001%-10%, based on the total weight of the composition, of oligosaccharide, wherein the oligosaccharide comprises a xylose-containing oligomer; (c) 0.001%-5%, based on the total weight of the composition, of glucose; and (d) at least 1000 PPM, based on the total weight of the composition, of alpha-bonded or beta-bonded diglucose.
