- a user computing device having a display and a camera, and storing executable instructions in a memory of the user computing device;
a continuous analyte sensor configured to be implanted within a body of a host; and
sensor electronics unit configured to receive and process sensor data generated by the continuous analyte sensor during a sensor session, to initialize the continuous analyte sensor, and to transmit the sensor data to the user computing device,wherein the user computing device is configured to (i) receive, as an input, a location on the body where the continuous analyte sensor was inserted into the skin of the host via a user indication of the location on the display or via a photograph of the location by the camera, (ii) store the location, (iii) gather hypoglycemic accuracy data, and (iv) correlate data including the sensor data for the sensor session and the hypoglycemic accuracy data with the location to produce sensor location performance data.

Abstract
The present embodiments provide systems and methods for, among others, tracking sensor insertion locations in a continuous analyte monitoring system. Data gathered from sensor sessions can be used in different ways, such as providing a user with a suggested rotation of insertion locations, correlating data from a given sensor session with sensor accuracy and/or sensor session length, and providing a user with a suggested next insertion location based upon past sensor accuracy and/or sensor session length at that location.
