1. A surface antenna with a single radiation element, consisting of:

  • a power source having first and second poles;

    a device selected from the group consisting of a first device and a second device,wherein the first device includes a phase shifting element, inserted to the path of one of the poles of said power source in such a manner that said phase shifting device shifts the phase of a first signal propagating through said pole such that the shifted phase of said first signal will be essentially identical to the phase of a second signal propagating through the other pole, and such that the shifted first signal is added to the second signal with essentially the same phase of second signal, and both poles are connected together to form a single-wire, through which the resulting added signal propagates, andwherein the second device includes two phase shifting elements, coupled to each of the poles of said power source in such a manner that one of said two phase shifting elements shifts the phase of a first signal propagating through the first pole while the other phase shifting element shifts the phase of a second signal propagating through the second pole such that the shifted phases of both signals will be essentially identical, and such that the shifted signals are added with essentially the same phase, and both poles are connected together to form a single-wire, through which the resulting added signal propagates; and

    a single radiation element, in the form of a single flat radiation layer that may be adapted to match a variety of surfaces, for receiving said added signal, wherein said added signal is split into several wire lines,wherein said several wire lines include at least three wire lines connected to the board radiating element formed as the single flat radiating layer in at least three points spaced from one another in a direction transverse to said wire lines and distributed along the radiating element in said direction, with at least one of said points being spaced from end edges of the radiating element formed as the single flat radiating layer as considered in said direction, and all said wire lines have a wavy configuration and a same length.
