1. A method for transmitting an uplink signal by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
- receiving a first uplink grant including a first new data indicator (NDI) from a network;
determining whether the first NDI has been toggled by comparing the first NDI to a second NDI; and
transmitting the uplink signal based on a result of the determining to the network,wherein the second NDI is included in a second uplink grant that was previously received, andwherein the second uplink grant was identified by an identifier except for a temporary cell identifier.

Abstract
A method is provided for transmitting an uplink signal by a user equipment (UE). The UE receives a first uplink grant including a first new data indicator (NDI) from a network, determines whether the first NDI has been toggled by comparing the first NDI to a second NDI, and transmits the uplink signal based on a result of the determining to the network. The second NDI is included in a second uplink grant that was previously received. The second uplink grant was identified by an identifier except for a temporary cell identifier.

6. A user equipment (UE) comprising:
-
a receiver configured to receive a first uplink grant including a first new data indicator (NDI) from a network; a processor configured to determine whether the first NDI has been toggled by comparing the first NDI to a second NDI; and a transmitter configured to transmit an uplink signal based on a result of the determining to the network, wherein the second NDI is included in a second uplink grant that was previously received by the receiver, and wherein the second uplink grant was identified by an identifier except for a temporary cell identifier. - View Dependent Claims (7, 8, 9, 10)
