1. A method, comprising:

  • receiving, by at least one processor through at least one communication link, a transacting media container including video content, an affiliate tracking identifier with first entity information associated with a first entity, and processor-executable instantiation code;

    identifying, by the at least one processor, second entity information associated with a second entity;

    retrieving, by the at least one processor through the at least one communication link, supplemental content based on the second entity information, the supplemental content including a plurality of interactive advertisements related to one or more products or services present in the video content;

    adding, by the at least one processor, (1) the supplemental content to the transacting media container to define an updated transacting media container, and (2) the second entity information to the affiliate tracking identifier to define an updated affiliate tracking identifier included in the updated transacting media container; and

    transmitting, by the at least one processor through at least one communication link, the updated transacting media container including the updated affiliate tracking identifier to a first endpoint compute device for presentation of the video content and at least one advertisement of the plurality of interactive advertisements of the supplemental content to a user of the first endpoint compute device based on execution of the processor-executable instantiation code by the first endpoint compute device, the updated transacting media container configured such that, when instantiated;

    (a) an interface is displayed, the interface configured to (i) allow the user to share the updated transacting media container to a second endpoint compute device, and (ii) allow the user to interact with the presented at least one interactive advertisement and initiate a transaction without leaving display areas of the video content and supplemental content;

    (b) user interactions with the interface are monitored; and

    (c) the updated affiliate tracking identifier is further updated at the first endpoint compute device based on the monitored user interactions to define a further updated affiliate tracking identifier.
