1. A system for generating multi-directional pictures, the system implemented at least in part on one or more computing devices, the system comprising:
- one or more processor circuits coupled to a memory unit;
a picture-taking device, coupled to the one or more processor circuits, for capturing pictures; and
an interface for guiding a user configured to;
guide a user to capture one or more pictures from a first location of a represented object using the picture-taking device; and
guide the user to capture one or more pictures from a second location of the represented object using the picture-taking device, wherein the one or more processor circuits are configured to;
generate a first multi-directional picture including the one or more pictures from the first location;
generate a second multi-directional picture including the one or more pictures from the second location;
determine that at least a subset of a picture of the one or more pictures of the first multi-directional picture at least partially matches at least a subset of a resized picture of the one or more pictures of the second multi-directional picture to indicate a line of sight from the picture of the one or more pictures of the first multi-directional picture to the picture of the one or more pictures of the second multi-directional picture;
add a link with the second multi-directional picture to the first multi-directional picture, the first multi-directional picture including one or more links;
add a link with the first multi-directional picture to the second multi-directional picture, the second multi-directional picture including one or more links; and
cause the memory unit to store the first and the second multi-directional pictures, wherein the memory unit stores at least a plurality of multi-directional pictures, the plurality of multi-directional pictures interlinked corresponding to a shape of the represented object to enable portrayal of the represented object of any shape.

11. A non-transitory computer storage medium having a computer program stored thereon, the program comprising instructions that when executed by one or more processor circuits cause the one or more processor circuits to perform operations comprising:
-
guiding a user to capture one or more pictures from a first location of a represented object using a picture-taking device; generating a first multi-directional picture including the one or more pictures from the first location; guiding the user to capture one or more pictures from a second location of the represented object using the picture-taking device; generating a second multi-directional picture including the one or more pictures from the second location; determining that at least a subset of a picture of the one or more pictures of the first multi-directional picture at least partially matches at least a subset of a resized picture of the one or more pictures of the second multi-directional picture to indicate a line of sight from the picture of the one or more pictures of the first multi-directional picture to the picture of the one or more pictures of the second multi-directional picture; adding a link with the second multi-directional picture to the first multi-directional picture, the first multi-directional picture including one or more links; adding a link with the first multi-directional picture to the second multi-directional picture, the second multi-directional picture including one or more links; and causing a memory unit to store the first and the second multi-directional pictures, wherein the memory unit stores at least a plurality of multi-directional pictures, the plurality of multi-directional pictures interlinked corresponding to a shape of the represented object to enable portrayal of the represented object of any shape. - View Dependent Claims (12, 13, 14, 15)

16. A method comprising:
-
(a) guiding a user to capture one or more pictures from a first location of a represented object using a picture-taking device, the guiding of (a) performed by one or more processor circuits; (b) generating a first multi-directional picture including the one or more pictures from the first location, the generating of (b) performed by the one or more processor circuits; (c) guiding the user to capture one or more pictures from a second location of the represented object using the picture-taking device, the guiding of (c) performed by the one or more processor circuits; (d) generating a second multi-directional picture including the one or more pictures from the second location, the generating of (d) performed by the one or more processor circuits; (e) determining that at least a subset of a picture of the one or more pictures of the first multi-directional picture at least partially matches at least a subset of a resized picture of the one or more pictures of the second multi-directional picture to indicate a line of sight from the picture of the one or more pictures of the first multi-directional picture to the picture of the one or more pictures of the second multi-directional picture, the determining of (e) performed by the one or more processor circuits; (f) adding a link with the second multi-directional picture to the first multi-directional picture, the first multi-directional picture including one or more links, the adding of (f) performed by the one or more processor circuits; (g) adding a link with the first multi-directional picture to the second multi-directional picture, the second multi-directional picture including one or more links, the adding of (g) performed by the one or more processor circuits; and (h) storing the first and the second multi-directional pictures into a memory unit, the storing of (h) caused by the one or more processor circuits, wherein the memory unit stores at least a plurality of multi-directional pictures, the plurality of multi-directional pictures interlinked corresponding to a shape of the represented object to enable portrayal of the represented object of any shape. - View Dependent Claims (17, 18, 19, 20)
