1. A method for auditing a base station in a wireless communication network to determine differences between stored parameters stored by the network and actual parameters of a misconfigured base station antenna, the method comprising:

  • receiving measured data from one or more user equipment, the measured data including signal strength data for a signal transmitted by the antenna and received by the one or more user equipment and location data for a location of the one or more user equipment when the signal transmitted by the antenna was received;

    receiving the parameters for the antenna stored by the network;

    comparing the measured data to the stored parameters;

    generating adjustment parameters based on a result of the comparison;

    adjusting the antenna using the adjustment parameters to correct the misconfigurationadjusting the stored parameters according to the adjustment parameters; and

    comparing the adjusted parameters to the measured data,wherein comparing the measured data to the stored parameters includes calculating a fit value and comparing the fit value to a threshold value.
