(a) one or more compounds having acaricidal, algicidal, avicidal, bactericidal, fungicidal, herbicidal, insecticidal, molluscicidal, nematicidal, rodenticidal, or virucidal properties;

or

(b) one or more compounds that are antifeedants, bird repellents, chemosterilants, herbicide safeners, insect attractants, insect repellents, mammal repellents, mating disrupters, plant activators, plant growth regulators, or synergists;

or

(c) both (a) and (b).

23. A process of controlling pests comprising applying a composition according to claim 1, to an area in an amount sufficient to control such pest.

24. A composition according to claim 1 further comprising a seed.

25. A composition according to claim 1 further comprising a seed that has been genetically modified to express one or more specialized traits.

26. A composition according to claim 1 wherein said composition is encapsulated inside, or placed on the surface of, a capsule.

27. A composition according to claim 1 wherein said composition is encapsulated inside, or placed on the surface of, a capsule, wherein said capsule has a diameter of about 100-900 nanometers or about 10-900 microns.

28. A composition according to claim 1 where said composition further comprises ammonium sulfate.

29. A process comprising applying a composition according to claim 1, to an area to control a pest, in an amount sufficient to control such pest.

A process according to claim 29 wherein said pest is selected from the group consisting of beetles, earwigs, cockroaches, flies, aphids, scales, whiteflies, leafhoppers, ants, wasps, termites, moths, butterflies, lice, grasshoppers, locusts, crickets, fleas, thrips, bristletails, mites, ticks, nematodes, and symphylans.

31. A process according to claim 29 wherein said pest is from phyla Nematoda or Arthropoda.

32. A process according to claim 29 wherein said pest is from subphyla Chelicerata, Myriapoda, or Hexapoda.

33. A process according to claim 29 wherein said pest is from class of Arachnida, Symphyla, or Insecta.

35. A process according to claim 29 wherein said pest is Beet Army Worm, Corn Earworm, or Cabbage Looper.

36. A process according to claim 29 wherein said amount is from about 0.01 grams per hectare to about 5000 grams per hectare.

37. A process according to claim 29 wherein said amount is from about 0.1 grams per hectare to about 500 grams per hectare.

38. A process according to claim 29 wherein said amount is from about 1 gram per hectare to about 50 grams per hectare.

A process according to claim 29 wherein said area is an area where apples, corn, cotton, soybeans, canola, wheat, rice, sorghum, barley, oats, potatoes, oranges, alfalfa, lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, crucifers, pears, tobacco, almonds, sugar beets, or beans, are growing, or the seeds thereof are going to be planted.

40. A process according to claim 29 further comprising applying said composition to a genetically modified plant that has been genetically modified to express one or more specialized traits.

41. A process of controlling endoparasites, ectoparasites, or both, comprising orally administering;

or topically applying;

a composition according to claim 1, to a non-human animal.

42. A process of enhancing a plant'"'"'s health, yield, vigor, quality, or tolerance, at a time when pest activity is low comprising applying a composition according to claim 1 to a plant.
