1. A power and data transmission apparatus in a sound system using wireless power transmission, the apparatus comprising:
- a data transmitting unit configured to wirelessly transmit sound data, to sound output devices;
a power transmitting unit configured to wirelessly transmit power, to the sound output devices; and
a controller configured to control the data transmitting unit and the power transmitting unit, based on a distance between the apparatus and the sound output devices,wherein the controller is configured tocontrol the power transmitting unit to transmit the power to a relay device positioned within a predetermined distance, in response to the distance between the apparatus and the sound output devices being greater than the predetermined distance, anddetermine a multichannel sound data corresponding to each of the sound output devices.
