Abstract

A method and device for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), an uplink signal. The method includes: generating, by the UE, a reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) carrying data of the UE; and transmitting, by the UE, the PUSCH and the reference signal. Here, the reference signal is generated from a base sequence, the base sequence for the reference signal is determined based on a sequence-shift pattern f^PUSCH_SS, and the sequence-shift pattern f^PUSCH_SS is determined according to ‘f^PUSCH_SS=(N^cell_ID+Δ_SS) mod 30’ based on Δ_SSε{0, . . . , 29} provided by a higher layer and a physical cell identity N^cell_IDε{0, . . . , 503} when a virtual cell identity is not provided, and the sequence-shift pattern f^PUSCH_SS is determined according to ‘f^PUSCH_SS=n^PUSCH_ID mod 30’ based on the virtual cell identity n^PUSCH_IDε{0, . . . , 509} when the virtual cell identity n^PUSCH_ID is provided.

Claims

1. A method for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), an uplink signal, the method comprising:

generating, by the user equipment, a reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) carrying data of the user equipment; and

transmitting, by the user equipment, the PUSCH and the reference signal,

wherein the reference signal is generated from a base sequence,

wherein the base sequence for the reference signal is determined based on a sequence-shift pattern f^PUSCH_SS, and

wherein the sequence-shift pattern f^PUSCH_SS is determined according to ‘

f^PUSCH_SS=(N^cell_ID+Δ

_SS) mod 30’

based on Δ

6. A user equipment (UE) for transmitting an uplink signal, the UE comprising:

a receiver,

a transmitter, and

a processor configured to control the receiver and the transmitter, the processor configured to;

generate a reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) carrying data of the user equipment; and

control the transmitter to transmit the PUSCH and the reference signal,

wherein the reference signal is generated from a base sequence,

wherein the base sequence for the reference signal is determined based on a sequence-shift pattern f^PUSCH_SS, and

wherein the sequence-shift pattern f^PUSCH_SS is determined according to ‘

f^PUSCH_SS=(N^cell_ID+Δ

_SS) mod 30’
