The invention provides seed and plants of tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079. The invention thus relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of line PSQ9Z13-9079, and to methods for producing a tomato plant produced by crossing such plants with themselves or with another tomato plant, such as a plant of another genotype. The invention further relates to seeds and plants produced by such crossing. The invention further relates to parts of such plants, including the fruit and gametes of such plants.

15. A method of introducing a desired trait into a tomato line comprising:

(a) utilizing as a recurrent parent a plant of tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079, by crossing a plant of tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079 with a donor tomato plant that comprises a desired trait to produce F1 progeny, a sample of seed of said line having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-122150, (b) selecting an F1 progeny that comprises the desired trait; (c) backcrossing the selected F1 progeny with a plant of tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079, to produce backcross progeny; (d) selecting backcross progeny comprising the desired trait; and (e) repeating steps (c) and (d) three or more times to produce selected fourth or higher backcross progeny that comprises the desired trait, and otherwise comprises essentially all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079. - View Dependent Claims (16)

- 17. A method of producing a tomato plant comprising an added trait, the method comprising introducing by transformation a transgene conferring the trait into a plant of tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079, a sample of seed of said line having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-122150.

A plant of tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079, further comprising a transgene, a sample of seed of said line having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-122150, wherein said plant otherwise comprises essentially all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079.

A plant of tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079, further comprising a single locus conversion, a sample of seed of said line having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-122150, wherein said plant otherwise comprises essentially all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079.

23. A method for producing a seed of a tomato plant derived from tomato line PSQ9Z13-9079 comprising the steps of:

(a) crossing a tomato plant of line PSQ9Z13-9079 with itself or a second tomato plant, a sample of seed of said line having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-122150; and (b) allowing seed of a line PSQ9Z13-9079-derived tomato plant to form.

24. A method of producing a seed of a line PSQ9Z13-9079 derived tomato plant comprising the steps of:

(a) producing a line PSQ9Z13-9079 derived tomato plant from a seed produced by crossing a tomato plant of line PSQ9Z13-9079 with itself or a second tomato plant, a sample of seed of said line having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-122150; and (b) crossing the line PSQ9Z13-9079 derived tomato plant with itself or a different tomato plant to obtain a seed of a further line PSQ9Z13-9079 derived tomato plant. - View Dependent Claims (25)
