- first and second substrates facing each other;
a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates; and
an anti-static layer on an outer side of the second substrate and including a base material and a conductive material,wherein the first substrate includes;
a plurality of first signal lines;
a plurality of second signal lines crossing the plurality of first signal lines;
a plurality of pixel electrodes;
a plurality of first common electrodes in a region; and
a sensing line electrically connected to the plurality of first common electrodes in the region and extending along at least one of the plurality of first signal lines; and
a sensing circuit electrically connected to the sensing line,wherein the liquid crystal layer is driven by a fringe field between the plurality of pixel electrodes and the plurality of first common electrodes for displaying an image,wherein the sensing circuit detects a change of capacitance between an object and the plurality of first common electrodes through the sensing line for sensing a touched position.
