1. A power transmitter for wireless multi-charging, the power transmitter comprising:
- a Radio Frequency (RF) field generator configured to wirelessly transmit power to one or more power receivers; and
a controller configured to;
increase a transmission power of the RF field generator to charge a first power receiver when the first power receiver is located in a charging area of the power transmitter;
when a second power receiver is located in the charging area of the power transmitter along with the first power receiver, receive, from the second power receiver, a charging request message including information regarding an amount of power required for charging the second power receiver;
decrease, after receiving of the charging request message, the transmission power of the RF field generator to suspend charging of the first power receiver before simultaneously charging both of the first power receiver and the second power receiver; and
increase the transmission power of the RF field generator to simultaneously charge both of the first power receiver and the second power receiver based on the charging request message.
