1. A method for operating a transmitter in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- mapping control channel information to a first frequency region;
mapping data to a second frequency region; and
transmitting the mapped control channel information and the mapped data to a receiver, wherein the mapped control channel information on the first frequency region is transmitted through a dedicated radio frequency (RF) path via a plurality of transmission beams, and wherein the mapped data on the second frequency region is transmitted through a common RF path via at least one of the plurality of transmission beams, wherein the dedicated RF path comprises a dedicated path for processing a signal regarding the control channel information in the transmitter, andwherein the common RF path comprises a common path for processing a signal regarding the data in the transmitter.
