1. An implantable medical device for supporting tissue comprising:

  • a first surgical mesh having a planar configuration and including a first top surface including a plurality of first filamentary grip-members and a first bottom surface including a plurality of second filamentary grip-members;

    a second surgical mesh having a planar configuration and including a second top surface including a plurality of third filamentary grip-members and a second bottom surface including a plurality of fourth filamentary grip-members, wherein the first bottom surface of the first surgical mesh is attached to the second top surface of the second surgical mesh via the second and third filamentary grip-members; and

    a third surgical mesh having a planar configuration and including a third top surface including a plurality of fifth filamentary grip-members and a third bottom surface including a plurality of sixth filamentary grip-members, wherein the first and third surgical mesh are vertically staggered and the second and third surgical mesh are horizontally aligned in the same plane.
