1. A display device including an active area, the display device comprising:
- a first substrate;
a plurality of first pixel electrodes in the active area;
a plurality of second pixel electrodes in the active area;
a first common electrode block corresponding to the plurality of first pixel electrodes;
a second common electrode block corresponding to the plurality of second pixel electrodes;
a first sensing line connected with the first common electrode block in the active area; and
a second sensing line connected with the second common electrode block in the active area,wherein the first sensing line is overlapped with a first portion of the first common electrode block, and the second sensing line is overlapped with a second portion of the first common electrode block and a second portion of the second common electrode block,wherein the first sensing line is not connected with the second common electrode block in the active area and the second sensing line is not connected with the first common electrode block in the active area.

22. A sensing circuit for a display device including an active area, the display device comprising:
- a first substrate;
a plurality of first pixel electrodes in the active area;
a plurality of second pixel electrodes in the active area;
a first common electrode block corresponding to the plurality of first pixel electrodes;
a second common electrode block corresponding to the plurality of second pixel electrodes;
a first sensing line connected with the first common electrode block in the active area; and
a second sensing line connected with the second common electrode block in the active area,wherein the first sensing line is overlapped with a portion of the first common electrode block, and the second sensing line is overlapped with a portion of the first common electrode block and a portion of the second common electrode block, wherein the first sensing line is not connected with the second common electrode block in the active area and the second sensing line is not connected with the first common electrode block in the active area, wherein the sensing circuit comprising first circuitry configured to apply an electrical signal to the first common electrode block via the first sensing line and to the second common electrode block via the second sensing line, wherein the first circuitry is electrically coupled to the first sensing line and the second sensing line. - View Dependent Claims (23)
