1. An all in the head surface cleaning apparatus comprising:

  • (a) a surface cleaning head comprising;

    (i) a front end, a rear end, first and second laterally opposed sidewalls and an air flow path extending from a dirty air inlet to a surface cleaning head air outlet;

    (ii) a cyclone assembly comprising a cyclone chamber and a dirt collection chamber, the cyclone chamber having a longitudinal cyclone axis, a cyclone air inlet and a cyclone air outlet, the dirt collection chamber is moveable between an in use position and an emptying position;

    (iii) a pre-motor filter chamber; and

    ,(iv) a suction motor,wherein at least one of the pre-motor filter and a pre-motor filter chamber is revealed when the dirt collection chamber is in the emptying position; and

    (b) an upper portion moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a storage position and a floor cleaning position, the upper portion comprising a drive handle.
