1. A liquid dispensing applicator, comprising:

  • a container body for containing a liquid, the container body having a longitudinal axis about which the container body is rotatable and a first end and a second end, the second end comprising a projection;

    a head component comprising a passageway having a distal end and a proximal end, the proximal end being for receiving the second end of the container body and the distal end being for applying the liquid onto a surface, the passageway containing a slot system for receiving the projection of the container body;

    wherein the container body and the head component are rotatable with respect to each other to enable engagement of the projection and the slot system and cause breakage of part of the container body to form a fluid communication breach thereby allowing the liquid to flow from the container body into the passageway of the head component; and

    a sound-generating system for generating a sound during rotation of the container body about the longitudinal axis to indicate to a user that the rotation is performed, the sound-generating system comprising;

    at least one knob and a plurality of ribs, the at least one knob cooperating with at least some of the ribs during rotation of the container body about the longitudinal axis, in order to generate the sound,wherein the at least one knob is located on an outer surface of the head component and the plurality of ribs are located on an outer surface of the second end of the container body, or the at least one knob is located on the outer surface of the second end of the container body and the plurality of ribs are located on the outer surface of the head component.
