1. One or more non-transitory computer-readable media having instructions, stored thereon, that when executed cause a device to:

  • obtain a Third Generation Partnership (3GP)-Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over Hypertext Transfer Protocol (DASH) profile associated with a user equipment (UE) of a wireless communication network, the 3GP-DASH profile to indicate one or more restrictions associated with stereoscopic three-dimensional (3-D) video content supported by the UE;

    identify a first media presentation that complies with the obtained 3GP-DASH profile and is available for delivery to the UE;

    obtain a media presentation description (MPD) that includes information associated with the identified first media presentation and information associated with a second media presentation that does not comply with the obtained 3GP-DASH profile;

    modify, based on the obtained 3GP-DASH profile, the MPD to exclude the information associated with the second media presentation that does not comply with the obtained 3GP-DASH profile; and

    transmit the modified MPD to the UE.
