1. A device for continuous monitoring of a tumor in a tissue region, the device comprising:

  • a PMD camera chip; and

    at least two amplitude modulated near-infrared light sources horizontally separated from the PMD camera chip such that the PMD camera chip and the at least two near-infrared light sources are in a reflection geometry,wherein a first amplitude modulated near-infrared light source emits near-infrared light at a first wavelength, the first wavelength below an isosbestic point of hemoglobin, andwherein a second amplitude modulated near-infrared light source emits near-infrared light at a second wavelength, the second wavelength above the isosbestic point of hemoglobin.
