1. A system for delivering to a patient a cell-slurry comprising a fluid and cells which are non-dissolvable or immiscible in the fluid, the system comprising:

  • a container initially containing the cell-slurry and a supernate of the cell-slurry;

    a syringe adapted to contain the cell-slurry after dilation with the supernate;

    a fluid path between the syringe and the cell-slurry and the supernate in the container, the fluid path comprising a needle at least partially disposed in the cell-slurry and the supernate in the container and tubing fluidly connecting the needle to the syringe;

    a plunger disposed in the syringe and adapted to create pressure in the syringe to cause a dilated cell-slurry contained within the container to flow into the syringe through the fluid path; and

    a fluidizing system comprising a holder adapted to move the needle to affect dilation of the cell-slurry with a portion of the supernate to form the dilated cell-slurry, the holder and the needle imparting agitating movement to the cell-slurry and the supernate in the container to affect the dilation of the cell-slurry with the supernate.
