1. A method for reducing unwanted emissions in a system for wirelessly transferring power via a magnetic field at a resonant frequency, the method comprising:

  • generating a first field, via a wireless power transmit antenna of a wireless power transmitter, wherein the first field comprises at least a magnetic field for wirelessly transferring the power and an undesired field portion;

    sensing the first field, via a sensor comprising a conductive component of the wireless power transmitter different from the wireless power transmit antenna, wherein the conductive component is electrically connected to a controller circuit of the wireless power transmitter via a sense circuit;

    generating, by the controller circuit of the wireless power transmitter, a signal indicative of the undesired field portion of the sensed first field;

    operating a switching circuit configured to selectively electrically connect the conductive component to the controller via either the sense circuit or a cancellation circuit, such that the conductive component is electrically connected to the controller via the cancellation circuit instead of the sense circuit; and

    driving, by the controller circuit, the conductive component of the wireless power transmitter via the cancellation circuit, based at least in part on the signal to generate a second field which reduces at least part of the undesired field portion of the sensed first field.
