1. A method for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), an uplink reference signal, the method comprising:
- obtaining, by the UE, a virtual cell identity nPUSCHID and a physical cell identity NcellID;
generating, by the UE, a first reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) based on the virtual cell identity nPUSCHID;
transmitting, by the UE, the first reference signal;
generating, by the UE, a second reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the physical cell identity NcellID; and
transmitting, by the UE, the second reference signal,wherein the virtual cell identity nPUSCHIDε
{0, . . . , 509}, and the physical layer cell identity NcellIDε
{0, . . . , 503}.

Abstract
A method for transmitting an uplink signal at a UE in a wireless communication system includes, when a virtual cell ID for a reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink channel is provided, generating a sequence of the reference signal on the basis of the virtual cell ID, and transmitting the generated reference signal to an eNB. A sequence hopping pattern of the reference signal can be determined on the basis of the virtual cell ID.
