1. A method for receiving by a user equipment acknowledgement/Negative ACK (ACK/NACK) signals from a network node in a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) mobile communication system, the method comprising:

  • transmitting, to the network node, a plurality of data blocks by using one or more physical resource blocks (PRBs), wherein the data blocks are converted into respective codewords mapped to layers for MIMO transmission, and each PRB is one-to-one mapped to a respective virtual resource block (VRB); and

receiving, from the network node, ACK/NACK signals of the plurality of data blocks, wherein a resource index for the ACK/NACK signal corresponding to a first data block of the plurality of data blocks is identified by using β

    ×

IRB,wherein a resource index for the ACK/NACK signal corresponding to a second data block of the plurality of data blocks is identified by using α

    ×

    IRB,wherein α

    is a constant, β

is a constant, and IRB is a lowest PRB index of one or more PRB indexes corresponding to the one or more PRBs.
