1. A cell phone assembly for engaging a cell phone in a nested relationship, the assembly comprising:
- (A) an enclosure fitting around at least a portion of the engaged cell phone, said enclosure having a back panel and at least one frontal peripheral lip positioned for holding the engaged cell phone within the assembly;
(B) a planar radio frequency (RF) coupling probe positioned in said back panel for electromagnetic coupling with an internal antenna of the cell phone when the cell phone is in the assembly, said coupling probe having substantially the same size and shape as the internal antenna of the cell phone, and wherein the enclosure holds the cell phone such that the RF coupling probe is substantially adjacent to the internal antenna of the cell phone when the cell phone is in the assembly;
(C) an assembly antenna; and
(D) an embedded electrical circuit within the enclosure, the electrical circuit comprising a signal amplifying circuit connecting said assembly antenna and said coupling probe, said amplifier amplifying signals between the assembly antenna and the coupling probe,wherein said electrical circuit is configured to conduct a captured electromagnetic signal from the coupling probe to the assembly antenna, wherein conducting the captured electromagnetic signal to the assembly antenna does not include actively amplifying the captured signal.
